Upbeat US military claims it has forced Al-Qaida out of Iraqi capital

The US military has highlighted its most positive evaluation yet of security in the Iraqi capital, claiming it has forced the most extreme of the insurgent groups, Al-Qaida in Mesopotamia, out of every neighbourhood in Baghdad, and has cut the number of murders by 80%. But Europe analysts doubt the latest evaluation. Thousands Iraqis have abandoned safe havens in Syria to return home. Tahsin al-Sheikhly, an Iraqi government spokesman, said 46,030 displaced Iraqis had returned home to the capital. However, in contrary, the Iraqi Red Crescent said the number of internally displaced people in Iraq had more than quadrupled during the past year, reaching 2.3 million by the end of September.

My Opinion

I wish that this was true. I believe it is a sort of propaganda to cover up what is really happening over their. And maybe if there is a little bit truth in it I am almost positive that sooner or later Al-Qaida will definitely strike back again with its guerilla warfare . To celebrate so claimed achievement is not an good idea, because thousands of people lost their lives, many are still displaced in boarding countries, and there is still tension between ethnic groups and guerilla militias on the streets of Baghdad as well as other locations In Iraq.

I hope that is also true, if Iraq will be saftely after the the damaged war. Iraq is going to be another country than it was. everything has changed and even its people. i find it very sad and unfortunately situation for Itaq. I hope and i wish with all my heart that Iraq will be changed. I think also that we must accept what it is said about Iraq.
